If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Mill Pond. Very pretty scenery and good skiing is what you get at Bradford, and a great beach nearby is Carson Beach. After a long day outdoors Bulfinch Hotel Boston is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Charles River. This lake is so wonderful. 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mill Pond. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Mill Pond. Very good water scenery is available at New Charles River Dam right next door to Mill Pond, and swing by Charles
River it's a perfect spot to take a look at. Mill Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Gotta ski! Blue Hills is a pleasant
place to do that, and taking a little journey to close by Bartons Point is a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Franklin Park Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and if you've had enough of Mill
Pond, Charles River Basin is nearby. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Milldam Marsh is right close by; why not camp at Camp Cedar since you're here at Mill Pond. The sights at Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area
will blow your mind, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Frog Pond is one of those close by. Prospect Lake Park is a glorious local campground.
