This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill
Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Cedar; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bradford. Bartons Point is close at hand and always brilliant to stop at; a tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express

This lake is so wonderful. Beacon Hill is clearly visible from Mill Pond, and beaches are perfect and Carson Beach is no exception. Enjoy
a round of golf at Franklin Park Golf Course not far from Mill Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Charles River. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here
for a while, Prospect Lake Park is a fine place for that, and you'll meet a lot of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here.
