This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are great; and Ryder Beach right next door to Mill Pond is no exception, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Small Swamp Trail. If you haven’t been to Cape Cod National Seashore, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here; Mill Pond is not the only place close by, Round Pond is a close by lake. Mill Pond gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
