Just can't get enough of Mill Pond. Float down the rapids of Atlantic Ocean in a kayak. Mill Pond gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during November; August is the month with the least moisture. Don't leave Mill Pond without first checking out Stage Head, and don't miss out on a perfect swamp; Annisquam       River is right here at Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Mill Pond do go to nearby Pavilion Beach; Henry's Resort Motel is a tremendous campground nearby. One of the best things about Mill Pond is its proximity to Wingaersheek Beach; a good site to check out nearby is Bald Rocks. During the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Mill Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime                  this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mill Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ocean View Inn and Resort is a nice spot to spend a night or two; you get a good sight of Bond Hill from here. Cape Ann Camp Site is a magnificent local campground; if you get bored of Mill Pond you could also have a look at close by Strangman Pond. But wait, there's more to do near Mill Pond. Some of the water close by flows, like Alewife Brook, and a trip to Annisquam Harbor is always a perfect idea.
