The beauty of Mill Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Butternut, and the nice folks of Pittsfield like to hang out close by. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Housatonic River, and Bears Den is clearly visible from Mill Pond. Barnum Street Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp in close proximity to Mill Pond, and Sheffield Plain is right here at Mill Pond. This lake is

| | so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Chambery Inn is a good location to spend a night or two; hiking is a popular thing to do around Mill Pond; Wild Cat Trail is a splendid local trail. For the period of the days of summer at Mill Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows at Mill Pond during the winter commonly fall into the 10's. Mill | |

Pond Dam is delightful and it's close to Mill Pond, and Lone Oak Camp Sites is a good campground nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Mill Pond has to offer. Good hiking
is available along the Indian Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Bash Bish Brook offers some tremendous whitewater. And that's not all you can do here at Mill Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Egremont Country Club not
far from Mill Pond, and don't leave Mill Pond without first going for a hike along the Elbow Trail. Lakes are good; Fawn Lake is a lake that's near Mill Pond; why not a little side trip to Schenob Brook. Catamount has wonderful
slopes and a friendly staff; Great Barrington Days Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Half Moon is a brilliant site to camp; you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Combes Pond is
one of those nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Mill Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
