The Wild Cat Trail offers hiking at its best, and Mill Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lone Oak Camp Sites is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Lee, and here at Mill Pond you can make out East Bald Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Pond is right by the Elbow Trail, also Windemere Lake Dam is worth a visit since you're here. Mill Pond sees pretty high levels

Mountain. There are some nice whitewater spots on Farmington River - West Branch, and a great site to camp here at Mill Pond is Cold Spring Campground. A lake close by is East Indies Pond, and if you need a place to stay Blackberry
River Inn is a nice choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Mill Pond. On a nice day you can visit Holleran Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Mill Pond; if you get bored of Mill Pond you could also explore
nearby Windemere Lake Reservoir. Skiing at Ski Butternut is one of those things you just must do, and close by you'll discover a wooded area called Cookson State Forest.
