Middle Reservoir Dike is worth taking a look at if you're here; if you have time to spare, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting. The pretty Middlesex Fells is here at Middle Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here. Through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Middle Reservoir; the night is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Middle
Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. What a location this is for outdoors people. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Charles River; you'll find a stunning lake called South Reservoir. Camp Cedar is a splendid
local campground, and a delightful lake like North Reservoir is a nice location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Aberjona River is a nice place to check out, and the sight of Bear Hill is beautiful. Comfort Inn Woburn
is a delightful site to get some rest, and Bradford is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. Middle Reservoir is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Camp Micah is a splendid site to camp nearby; Blue Hills has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful.

Lake Cochichewick
 | 12 miles away Lake Cochichewick formerly known as Great Pond, is located near the inersections of rt 125 and Great Pond Road in North Andover MA. The lake is a little over 200 acres and long and narrow but widens quite a bit in the middle. The average depth near in the midde is about 40ft however the lake can reach depths of up to 60ft. The lake is a protected reservoir so fishing and boating are by town permit only. Swimming and gas moters are prohibited. Large and small mouth bass are in decent numbers as well as perch, pickerel, sunfish, also there is Northern Pike around but few have hooked up one in the summer season. Mercury level are fairly high so it is recomended to limit the consumption of fish to 1 meal a month. Most of the locals you will meet on the lake are all artificial bait, catch and release fisherman.... |
