This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Brook is a wonderful local stream, and if you need a spot to stay Elm Motel is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Congamond Lakes North Dike if you're here at Middle Pond, and if you want to hit the beach, Babbs Beach is in the neighborhood. You truly have to fancy       Middle Pond. After a long day outdoors Dutch Iris Inn, The is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Edgewood Golf Course. Take a hike on the Richard Trail; if you're going to from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, you won't be the only one. Why not take a refreshing hike along the County Road Trail, and fine skiing awaits you at Blandford. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.                  There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Sundown, and a splendid spot to camp here at Middle Pond is Sodom Mountain Campground. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Farmington River, and why not camp at Golden Acres Campground since you're here at Middle Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You get a tremendous sight of Huckleberry Mountain from Middle Pond, and get dripping wet paddling on Little River. High temperatures at Middle Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Middle Pond. Middle Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is January.
