If you are in Dukes county it's always a good idea to stop by Menemsha Pond. Menemsha Basin is charming and it's near Menemsha Pond, and you are close to Long Point if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Menemsha Pond, checking out Nashaquitsa Cliffs is a must; don't forget to take a good little trip to Black Brook.

Spend the day on the beach at Menemsha Beach while you're here at Menemsha Pond; Squibnocket Marshes is an interesting swamp next to Menemsha Pond. Cooks Springs is always fun to check out, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Black Pond is one of those nearby.

Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Inn at Blueberry Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Martha's Vineyard Family Campground is a perfect campground here, and time spent at Lobsterville Beach is always great. Menemsha Pond is a reasonably
wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
For the period of the summer at Menemsha Pond highs are frequently in
the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Menemsha Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
