Meetinghouse Pond is a rather wet place frequently with much rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Smith Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; dry warm beds await       you at Wachusett Village Inn. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Meetinghouse Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a great location for that, and Rodeway Inn Westminster is a good place to get some rest. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Meetinghouse Pond. A round of golf at nearby Westminster Country Club Lobby is a good way to kill some time, and there's no such thing as a bad                  day of skiing at close by Wachusett Mountain. If you came to camp Pout and Trout Family Campground is a splendid place to do that, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some fine people from Worcester here, and there's whitewater on Contoocook River for all you adrenaline junkies. Just can't get enough of Meetinghouse Pond. While you're here at Meetinghouse Pond you can take a hike along the Wapack Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Round Meadow Pond; get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Souhegan River.
