Camping is available at Lorraine Park Campground, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford if you're here. If you come at the right time of year, Cohasset Tidal Rip offers some delightful whitewater; Boston Marriott Peabody is a wonderful place to get some rest. Meadow Pond usually gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. This is                  no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Some nearby water includes Goldthwait Brook; Sidneys Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Do stop at Peabody Reservoir next to Meadow Pond, it's a pretty lake; a pleasant spot to camp here at Meadow Pond is Prospect Lake Park. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Meadow Pond.
