In Massachusetts there are many beautiful lakes, McCusker Pond is one of them. The Westin Waltham-Boston is a nice site to get some rest, and Camp Micah is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Charles River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bradford. McCusker Pond is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. The summit of Bear Hill can be made out from McCusker Pond, and why not have a look at close by Cherry Brook since you're here at McCusker Pond.

near McCusker Pond? Silver Lake is in close proximity, and you can hit the slopes at Blue Hills close at hand. A round of golf at nearby Weston Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and there's whitewater on Concord River
for all you adrenaline kick people. Having a wonderful time at McCusker Pond is uncomplicated. Pine Hollow Camping is a splendid campground nearby; Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a pleasant spot nearby.

Pond through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; nighttime lows at McCusker Pond during the winter commonly descend into the 10's.
