Really great skiing awaits       you at Living Memorial Park, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Greenfield is a good choice. You don’t have to go far from Maynard Pond to see the water at Cabot Station Power Plant Dam, and nothing beats kicking back at Greenfield Beach. Cherry Rum Brook is a magnificent location to visit, and people from Springfield love to come here. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Don't leave Maynard Pond                  without first going for a hike along the Sunset Trail; a glorious spot for whitewater paddling is Deerfield River. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Montague Power Canal Reservoir is one of those close by, and you can run the rapids of Millers River - Lower. There's so much to do here at Maynard Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mohawk Park is a wonderful site for that, and the view of Canada Hill is pretty.
