Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Ward Pond near Marble Pond, and nearby you find the Parker Trail which is a good hiking trail. If you come at the right time of year, Souhegan River offers some good whitewater, and Marble Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out. All through the long summer days highs here at Marble Pond reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in

| | the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Marble Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Blood Hill is clearly visible from Marble Pond, and you can stay the night at Howe's Camping. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Marble Pond. Brook in a kayak, and the Wapack Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. A quick tour to Whitemans Brook in close proximity to Marble Pond is a fine idea, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Mitchell Hill Road.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Marble Pond. A great close by hotel is Wachusett Village Inn, and you're sure to encounter some fine folks from Manchester-Nashua here. The high level of rainfall
makes Marble Pond a reasonably wet location; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. A gorgeous lake like Watatic Pond in the neighborhood
of Marble Pond is a pleasant site to go to, and Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a glorious campground nearby. The snow is perfect at Crotched Mountain, and Courtyard Fitchburg is a fine location to get some rest.
