you'll come across Wampatuck Pond which is a wonderful lake; if you need a place to stay Best Western Rockland is a brilliant choice. Maquan Pond gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and July meanwhile
is the driest month. Maquan Pond is in the neighborhood of Wampatuck Pond Dam which is a delightful location beyond doubt worth going to, and Blue Hills has good slopes and a friendly staff.

Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds.  | 14 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
