You can run the rapids of Farmington River - West Branch near Lower Reservoir; you'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the vicinity of Lower Reservoir? Housatonic River Reservoir       is close by, and the snow is splendid at Bousquet. High temperatures at Lower Reservoir through the warm months are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lower Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
