Lower Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. John Leo Silver Lake Dam is a location that is near Lower Pond; skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just should do. You must beyond doubt stop by wonderful Short Beach if you're here at Lower Pond, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Charles River. At Lower Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.

| | Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Lower Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a splendid spree? Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is quite near Lower Pond, and you can run the rapids of Concord River. Boston-Days Inn Saugus/Logan Airport is a nice place to get some rest, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford since you're here. | |

Playing golf is lots of fun at Cedar Glen Golf Course, and there are plenty of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do close to Lower Pond. Getting to Beaverdam Brook from Lower Pond
is simple, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express SAUGUS (LOGAN AIRPORT) is a nice place to spend a night or two. A great deal of precipitation falls at Lower Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the
most rain, and August is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Revere Beach is near Lower Pond and is a pretty beach to pop by, and you'll hit upon a charming lake called Upper Pond.
Lower Pond is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Lorraine Park Campground is a fine site to camp nearby; do visit Spring Pond, it's a charming lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Pond has to offer, you can camp at Prospect Lake Park; Candle Hill is a peak you can make out from Lower Pond.
