High temperatures at Lower Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lower Pond all through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. Lower Pond regularly gets lots of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is August. Very delightful       scenery and great skiing is what you get at Blue Hills, and the wonderful people of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out nearby. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lower Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Powow Cove Campground is a brilliant place to camp; if you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Haverhill is a brilliant choice. Visiting Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is just something                  you need to do if you haven't yet; there's always Johnson Creek Dam At Salem Street to check out right next door to Lower Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Sorag Pond are fun to check out; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Bradford Country Club. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Lower Pond. After a long day outdoors Best Western Merrimack Valley is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are other places here than Lower Pond, for example Johnsons Pond. Take a little trip to Johnson Creek if you're here at Lower Pond, and at Lower Pond you can spot Dead Hill. Lorraine Park Campground is a good campground nearby, and lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Chadwick Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!
