There are other places here than Lower Pond, for example Chadwick Pond, and Lower Pond is not far at all from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Bradford if you're here, and swamps like Sorag Pond in the       vicinity of Lower Pond make for wonderful places to check out. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Lower Pond. If you need a site to stay Best Western Merrimack Valley is a great choice, and golf can be played at Bradford Country Club. Lakes? Sure, Johnsons Pond is in the vicinity, and Johnson Creek Dam At Salem Street is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Comfort Suites Haverhill is a delightful place to get some                  rest, and some nearby water includes Johnson Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Powow Cove Campground is a tremendous place for that; Concord River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lower Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just ought to do, and one of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Lower Pond is Dead Hill. During the warm days of summer at Lower Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Pond.
