On a tremendous day at Lower Naukeag Lake you can take a hike along the Parker Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Contoocook River. This lake is so wonderful. Wachusett Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a fine campground nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lower Naukeag Lake. When the night sets in
temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Naukeag Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Be careful coming to Lower Naukeag Lake,
you might not ever want to go back home again. Head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet.
From a precipitation point of view Lower Naukeag Lake is a reasonably typical place; May is the wettest month with most rain,
and February is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lower Naukeag Lake. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Upper Naukeag Lake near Lower Naukeag Lake, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Wapack Trail.
