Camping at Lower Highland Reservoir is delightful fun, Berkshire Park Camping Area is a delightful local campground, and Swift River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lower Highland Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Berkshire East is next to Lower Highland       Reservoir, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Westfield River - North Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oxbow Resort Motel, and Merritts Hill can be seen from Lower Highland Reservoir. While you're here at Lower Highland Reservoir you can take a hike along the Spring Trail, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Daughters of the American Revolution                  State Forest. So many cool things to do at Lower Highland Reservoir, so little time. The Link Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Lower Highland Reservoir, and why not have a look at close by Granny Brook since you're here at Lower Highland Reservoir. Summertime highs at Lower Highland Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Lower Highland Reservoir. If the weather is pleasant here at Lower Highland Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Richard Trail. There are other places here than Lower Highland Reservoir, for example Hammond Pond, and you're sure to run into some nice folks from Springfield here. This lake is so wonderful. Blandford is a delightful local ski area, and if you need a place to stay Autumn Inn is a great choice. Just can't get enough of Lower Highland Reservoir. Springbrook Family Camping Area is a great campground here, and at Highland Lakes Lower Lake Dam close to Lower Highland Reservoir there are some exciting things to see.
