Lovewell Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with much rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Be careful coming to Lovewell Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Swamps don’t sound that delightful but Cedar Swamp in the neighborhood of Lovewell Pond is quite delightful, and why       not head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. During your trip to Lovewell Pond you'll meet some folks from Worcester for sure, and if you came for an overnight stay Pout and Trout Family Campground is a tremendous place to camp. There's great hiking along the Harling Trail, and Peaceful Pines is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Westminster Country Club Lobby, and while you're here, you could go to Joslin                  Brook. Good hiking is available along the Wapack Trail, and not far from Lovewell Pond you'll come across Cunningham Pond which is a lovely lake. Through the summertime months here at Lovewell Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Lovewell Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Lovewell Pond Dam has great water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Lovewell Pond; Prentiss Hill is clearly visible from Lovewell Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lovewell Pond; Parker Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Wachusett Mountain, and if you need a place to stay Colonial Hotel is a glorious choice. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lovewell Pond.
