Lakes are tremendous; Hammond Pond is a lake that's near Lost Pond. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Watertown/Cambridge/Boston Area is a fine choice, and Brookline Golf Club is a wonderful golf course nearby. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just should do; camping at Camp Micah is always a tremendous experience. Throughout       the warm days of summer at Lost Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lost Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lost Pond, you'll come across Waban Hill Reservoir which is a gorgeous lake; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Charles River. If you adore the                  outdoors, you'll love Lost Pond. Take a look at close by Hammonds Pond Swamp, and if you haven’t been to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here. An interesting thing to stop at in the vicinity of Lost Pond is Waban Hill Reservoir Dam; getting to Sawmill Brook from Lost Pond is trouble-free.
