Whitewater paddling is great on Connecticut River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Link Trail. You get a great sight of Little Mountain from Lost Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Pond;       Spring Trail is a pleasant local trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Pond has to offer, you can camp at Windy Acres Campground; paddling on Little River is so much fun. Moose Brook is in the neighborhood of Lost Pond and is always a bliss to explore, and do take a hike on the Richard Trail. Lost Pond truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. You could also have a look at Long Pond while you're here at Lost Pond; it's                  nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD. Summer at Lost Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Lost Pond through the winter frequently drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a wonderful site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Lost Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wilderness Experience Unlimtd is a great place for that. Lost Pond is not the only place close by, Lyman Pond is a close by lake; the slopes of Berkshire East are so inviting nobody can resist. While you're here at Lost Pond you can play some golf at East Mountain Country Club. Lost Pond is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.
