Pine Ridge is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; after a long day outdoors Travelodge Sturbridge is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. Swamps don’t sound that tremendous but Single Swamp in the neighborhood of Lost Lake is relatively tremendous. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hemlock Ridge Golf Course

is nearby, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River.
The top of Blake Hill is easily observed from Lost Lake, and Pork Barrel Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Summertime highs at Lost Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Stevens Brook close to Lost Lake is a perfect idea, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Quaboag River.
