Spend the day on the beach at Patch Beach if you're here at Longham Reservoir, and why not head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a tremendous panorama of Bald Hill from Longham Reservoir; you'll find a striking lake called Beverly       Reservoir. Not far from Longham Reservoir you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Longham Reservoir Outlet Dam; Wenham Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by. One of the best things about Longham Reservoir is its proximity to Dane Street Beach; a scenic lake like Norwood Pond is a delightful place to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hawthorne Hotel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and at Longham Reservoir                  you always meet someone from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. A pleasant close by hotel is Wylie Inn & Conference Center at Endicott College, and Cape Ann Camp Site is a tremendous campground nearby. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Longham Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Longham Reservoir a relatively wet location; most of the rain falls during November while August is regularly the driest month. Bradford is a very popular ski area in close proximity; you can stay the night at Pines Camping Area. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Longham Reservoir, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 60's.
