Long Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Village Green Family Campground is a great location for that, and the fine folks of       Willimantic like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Quality Inn Sturbridge; from Long Pond you obtain a great view of Mount Dan. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Long Pond has to offer, you can camp at Quinebaug Cove Campground, and there's whitewater on Quaboag River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. On a magnificent day you can have a look at Single Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Long Pond;                  you can run the rapids of Natchaug River. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Sturbridge is a glorious choice. Lakes are tremendous; East Brimfield Lake is a lake that's near Long Pond. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Long Pond. This is a wonderful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Alum Pond is a lake close at hand, and in the neighborhood of Long Pond you come across a golf course called Hemlock Ridge Golf Course. Summertime highs at Long Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's.
