In Massachusetts there are many beautiful lakes, Long Pond is one of them. Cranberry Pond is a magnificent lake in the vicinity of Long Pond, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River. This lake is so wonderful. Long Pond is not far at all from Willimantic, and if you came to camp Quinebaug Cove Campground is a nice location to do that.

| | that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, East Brimfield Lake is around here, and enjoy a round of golf at Hemlock Ridge Golf Course. Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center on Cedar Lake is a good place to get some rest, and camping at Village Green Family Campground is always a good experience.

and Natchaug River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. You can take a little spree to Alum Pond Dam since you're here at Long Pond, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, take a look at Single Swamp if
you're here at Long Pond. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Sturbridge is a glorious choice, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Pine Ridge.
Throughout the days of summer at Long Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's,
and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Long Pond.
