For the duration of the long summer days at Long Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Long Pond. Super 8 Gardner is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and some of the water       nearby flows, like Mill Brook. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Long Pond. Skiing at Wachusett Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and if you've had enough of Long Pond, Whitehall Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pine Ridge while you're here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Millers River. Pine                  Acres Family Camping Resort is a perfect campground nearby, and this is a popular place for people from Worcester. This lake is so wonderful. Bedrock Golf Club is a golf course near Long Pond, and the panorama of beautiful Barrack Hill is brilliant. All the water falling down from the sky makes Long Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February.
