Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby North Head Long Pond; dry warm beds await you at The Beachside at Nantucket. Hit the beach if you want, Cisco Beach is practically right here; why not camp at Campers Haven LTD. while you're here at Long Pond. During the       summertime months highs here at Long Pond get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Long Pond drop into the 10's. Long Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls through November; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to stop at The Bathtub if you're here at                  Long Pond; if you need a place to stay Roberts House Inn is a great choice. Since you're here at Long Pond why not explore Quampache Bottom. Lakes are great; Sheep Pond is a lake that's close to Long Pond. Just can't get enough of Long Pond. Nothing beats kicking back at Dionis Beach, and there's some flowing water close by, Hither Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
