During the summer at Long Pond highs are commonly in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Pond temperatures dip to the 10's. The scenery at Barnstable Harbor in the neighborhood of Long Pond is beautiful, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close       by Dennis Pond. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in close proximity to Long Pond. Cove At Yarmouth is a great place to get some rest; Long Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Yarmouth Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground. Swamps don’t sound that brilliant but Mill Pond Marshes close to Long Pond is reasonably brilliant, and if you want to hit the beach, Grays Beach is nearby. Long Pond gets a good deal of water;                  the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site to camp here at Long Pond is Bass River Trailer Park, and splendid hiking is available along the Great Island Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Beach Point is close by and always magnificent to go to. Lakes? Sure, Hallets Millpond is around here. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading.
