Long Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Long Pond is a relatively wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Long Pond. If you came to camp Paine's Campground is a great place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Captains Quarters Motel is a great choice. This

| | lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Four Points By Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod, and the peak of Cannon Hill can be observed from Long Pond.
Cape Cod National Seashore is a good national park, and playing golf is lots of fun at Chequessett Yacht & Country Club. its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Indian Neck Marshes is right nearby, and some nearby water includes Blackfish Creek.
There are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Long Pond. There's
so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maurice's Campground is a wonderful place for that, and Drummer Cove is very near and is a perfect site to take a look at. For the period of the long summer days,
highs frequently are in the 70's at Long Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Long Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Fox Bottom is a great spot to have a look at close by; Gull Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you're looking for a beach near Long Pond, we recommend Cahoon Hollow Beach; there's glorious hiking along the Great Island
Trail. If you get bored of Long Pond, you could also check out nearby Spectacle Pond, and splendid hiking is available along the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail.
