Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Long Pond. While you're here at Long Pond you can take a hike along the Great Island Trail; on a great day you can explore Indian Neck Marshes, a swamp in the vicinity of Long Pond. Camping at Maurice's Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so       wonderful. The top of Cannon Hill is easily distinguished from Long Pond, and Cahoon Hollow Beach is a beach nearby that you can pop by. Lots of precipitation falls at Long Pond; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest of the months is July. All our national parks are brilliant spots to stop at, and Cape Cod National Seashore is no exception, and after a long day outdoors Four Points By Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod is a good spot to spend a                  night or two. High temperatures at Long Pond throughout the summertime are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Long Pond all through the winter generally descend into the 20's. A lake close by is Dyer Pond; Fox Bottom is also a great location to discover. There's some flowing water nearby, Blackfish Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Barnstable Town for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Chequessett Yacht & Country Club is a great golf course close by; on a good day you can take a hike along the Buttonbush Trail. Why not visit Drummer Cove also if you're here; if you get bored of Long Pond you could also have a look at close by Turtle Pond. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Long Pond.
