This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Beach N Towne Motel is a wonderful choice, and a quick visit to Bass River is undeniably a brilliant idea. James Pond is a great lake near Long Pond, and Grindell's Ocean View Park is a pleasant campground nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Clarion Inn South Yarmouth; Long Pond is right       by the Buttonbush Trail. Any time is a glorious time at Long Pond if you go for the outdoors. Cape Cod National Seashore is a brilliant local destination here at Long Pond, and the Great Island Trail offers hiking at its best. Long Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Flax Pond in the neighborhood of Long Pond, and                  obviously, A spree to Dogfish Bar is always fun. Hiking along the Red Maple Swamp Trail is perfect fun; in the neighborhood of Long Pond you hit upon a golf course called Blue Rock Par 3 Golf Course. Davis Beach is rather in close proximity to Long Pond, and one of the overriding highlights of the surroundings of Long Pond is German hill. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Long Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Long Pond tend to be in the 10's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Long Pond.
