A visit to Long Pond is always a good idea. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Long Pond near Long Pond; there's some flowing water nearby, Bass River is a stream you can check out while here. If you need a spot to stay Clarion Inn South Yarmouth is a good choice, and camping is available at Bass River Trailer Park. Go for a hike on the Red Maple Swamp Trail, and why not stop at Davis Beach also since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Bass River Beach is right next door to Long Pond and is a delightful beach to stop by; Long Pond is not far at all from Barnstable Town. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Great Island Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and German hill is clearly visible
from Long Pond. There are splendid spots to explore along the Buttonbush Trail; nearby you stumble on Dogfish Bar which is a brilliant place to visit.
If time allows, Cape Cod National Seashore is a national park worth checking
out, and Beach N Towne Motel is a fine place to get some rest. Long Pond frequently gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is
July. Throughout the summer highs here at Long Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Long Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
