So much cool stuff close to Little River Reservoir, definitely mind-boggling. After a long day outdoors Elm Motel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; some nearby water includes Jacks Brook. Little River Reservoir gets a lot of water; May is the month       that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to explore along the County Road Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Westfield River offers some fine whitewater. Having a good time at Little River Reservoir is painless. Near Little River Reservoir you find the Link Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and you can hit the beach if you want, Babbs Beach is practically right here. Drift                  down the rapids of Little River in a kayak, and Wolfpit Meadows is a nice location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Southwick Country Club, and there are plenty of folks from Springfield here. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD is a good choice, and Stevens Paper Company Upper Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a perfect adventure, and from Little River Reservoir you obtain a good sight of Bush Hill. A day on the slopes of Blandford is just what you need, and why not camp at Sodom Mountain Campground while you're here at Little River Reservoir. At Little River Reservoir all through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Little River Reservoir.
