There are other places here than Little River Reservoir, for example Sackett Reservoir; Elm Motel is a fine place to get some rest. A day on the slopes of Ski Sundown is just what you need, and since you're here you can take a hike along the County Road Trail. The scenery at Stevens Paper Company Upper Dam near Little River Reservoir is lovely; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn       Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Little River Reservoir. Not far from Little River Reservoir, you'll find Crane Pond which is a gorgeous lake; the snow is good at Blandford. Hiking along the Link Trail is wonderful fun; since you're here at Little River Reservoir it's a good idea to stop at Wolfpit Meadows. All the water falling down from the sky makes Little River Reservoir a wet                  spot; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Bush Hill is easily seen from Little River Reservoir, and golf can be played at Southwick Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Westfield River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Sodom Mountain Campground is a splendid local campground. Going for a hike along the Richard Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Babbs Beach is pretty nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and why not camp at Wilderness Experience Unlimtd while you're here at Little River Reservoir. Visit Jacks Brook if you're here at Little River Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Springfield here. During the days of summer at Little River Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
