If you are in Essex county it's always a good idea to stop by Little Elder Pond. The cheerful folks of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out nearby, and a magnificent place to camp here at Little Elder Pond is Prospect Lake Park. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Cedar Pond in the vicinity of Little Elder Pond is a good place to pop by; at Little Elder Pond you can catch a sight of Burrill Hill. Just can't get enough of Little Elder Pond.

| | Little Elder Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is August. Suntaug Lake Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here, and Blue Hills is a very popular ski area around here. Little Elder Pond get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Little Elder Pond tend to
be in the 10's. Hit the slopes at Bradford in close proximity, and Cedar Glen Golf Course is a golf course close by. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boston-Peabody,Ma, and why not camp at Lorraine Park Campground
if you're here at Little Elder Pond. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Little Elder Pond. Pierces Pond is a good lake in the neighborhood of Little Elder Pond; obviously, all our national parks are good sites to stop by and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception.
