    Beautiful Lee Pond Brook Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Housatonic River is a tremendous whitewater spot next to Lee Pond Brook Reservoir; don't leave Lee Pond Brook Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Elbow Trail. The slopes of Catamount are so inviting nobody can resist, and Lee Pond Brook Reservoir is not far at all from Hudson. Be careful coming to Lee Pond Brook Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again. Gotta ski! Ski Butternut  
   is a magnificent place to do that. There's so much to do here at Lee Pond Brook Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a wonderful place for that.
Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and nearby you locate nice sites like Guilder Hollow. At Lee Pond Brook Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings
 
               highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lee Pond Brook Reservoir. Lee Pond Brook Reservoir is not the only location close by, Lee Pond is a close by lake, and there are fine sites to look at along the Northrop Trail.
You can run the rapids of Bash Bish Brook in close proximity to Lee Pond Brook Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Ashley Hill Brook; a lake nearby is Hunts Pond. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Lee Pond Brook Reservoir; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lee Pond Brook Reservoir. Lee Pond Brook Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Waubeeka is a perfect local campground; why not explore Garret Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Great Barrington Days Inn; if the weather is wonderful, you get a fine vista of Bear Mountain from Lee Pond Brook Reservoir. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Undermountain Golf Course; if you need a location to stay Chambery Inn is a good choice.

Hilltop Pond

Hilltop Pond is a beautiful private pond. It's owned by the home owner on the top of the hill to the west and other adjoining land owners have pond rights. It's quite shallow, so it will always be in need of constant cleaning. The 42 acre pond is home to loads of wildlife and is the prime souce of water flowing into Macedonia State Park.

An interesting fact: The dam, rebuilt in the early 90's is made up of concrete blocks, each weighing over a ton. Environmental regulations wouldn't allow pouring cement into forms, so the large number of blocks were layed in place, held in place only by their individaul mass.

Jimmy Walker, the mayor of NYC would visit Hilltop Lodge, with his buddies. Hilltop Lodge was located on the west side of Weber Road where the road takes a bend well above about mid point in the length of the pond. The lodge burned to the ground in the 50's. There was no structure on the property from then until 1984, when the home to the north was constructed....
