Soar down the rapids of Housatonic River in a kayak, and Great Barrington Days Inn is a good site to get some rest. campground. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Lee Pond throughout the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours
in the wintertime at Lee Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Catamount is next to Lee Pond; this is a popular site for people from Hudson. The scenery at Garret Dam next to Lee Pond is scenic, and
as expected, A tour to Guilder Hollow is always fun. Camping at Camp Waubeeka is always a brilliant experience, and golf can be played at Undermountain Golf Course. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lee Pond is close to the
national average; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. Paddling on Bash Bish Brook is so much fun, and the Northrop Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. This lake is so
wonderful. The skiing at Ski Butternut is tremendous, and Lee Pond is not the only spot close by, Riga Lake is a close by lake.
