The beauty of Lawrence Pond is reason enough to stop by. Summertime highs at Lawrence Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lawrence Pond sink into the 10's. Hog Ponds is a wonderful lake close to Lawrence Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Barnstable Town here at Lawrence

Lawrence Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Peters Pond Park is a nice place to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors La Plaza Del Sol is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Dunroamin' Trailer Park is a brilliant campground nearby, and if you want to hit the beach, Springhill Beach is around here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors | |

All the water falling down from the sky makes Lawrence Pond a wet location; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. If you need a place to stay The Santuit Inn is a great choice; a lovely lake like Triangle Pond is a great location to visit.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |

I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
