Konkapot Brook has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Laurel Lake mostly gets a lot of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Very charming       scenery and great skiing is what you get at Catamount, and why not camp at Camp Half Moon since you're here at Laurel Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Laurel Lake. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Lee is a splendid choice, and at Laurel Lake Dam right next door to Laurel Lake there are some exciting things to see. A nice location to camp here at Laurel Lake is Maple Glade Campground, and what would winter be without                  some skiing at Bousquet. Perkins Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Turner Trail. This lake is so wonderful. At Laurel Lake you can see The Pinnacle, and going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Laurel Lake is not far at all from Pittsfield, and a round of golf at nearby Cranwell Resort & Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Lee, and it's a pleasant idea to stop by Beartown Brook. At Laurel Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
