at Laurel Lake, you could also stop at charming Stockbridge Bowl; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Lee is a fine choice.
At Laurel Lake you always meet someone from Pittsfield; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Lee
is a fine site to spend a night or two. Skiing at Catamount is one of those things you just ought to do, and there's glorious hiking along the Turner Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Laurel
Lake; Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a great local trail; you'll find a stunning lake called Housatonic River Reservoir.
