Beautiful Laurel Lake has much to offer visitors. There are some fine whitewater spots on Konkapot Brook, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Black Swan Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Laurel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Glade Campground is a wonderful site for that, and don't leave Laurel Lake without first going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. | | skiing, you're in luck; Bousquet is near Laurel Lake, and there's brilliant hiking along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail.
High temperatures at Laurel Lake all through the warm months are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Laurel Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. forget to take a pleasant little spree to Beartown Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Laurel Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Laurel Lake Dam, and Catamount is a great local ski area.
So much enjoyable
stuff to do here at Laurel Lake, too pleasant to be true. There's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. The Pinnacle is clearly visible from Laurel Lake, and people from Pittsfield love
to come here. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Lee. Lakes? Sure, Housatonic River Reservoir is around here.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Laurel Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily
June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Laurel Lake. Laurel Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a wonderful local campground, and splendid hiking is available along the Turner Trail.
