If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Larkum Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A short tour to Otis Falls is always worthwhile; Otis Reservoir Dam is a beautiful spot. This place, Larkum Pond, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. The skiing at Blandford is magnificent; here at Larkum Pond you can observe Larkum Hill. Farmington River - West Branch has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by; camping is available

Some nearby water includes Fall River, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fall River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Larkum Pond you can take a hike along the Link Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Benton Brook Reservoir.

and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Larkum Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Hiking along the County Road Trail is brilliant
fun, and why not camp at J and D Marina while you're here at Larkum Pond. You are near Kibbe Point while you're here at Larkum Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here.
But wait, there's more to do near Larkum
Pond. After a long day outdoors Lee Super 8 Motel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Richard Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Otis Ridge is near Larkum Pond, and dry
warm beds await you at Blackberry River Inn. Larkum Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
