For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Langsford Pond overnight low       temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little journey to close by Cape Ann is a magnificent idea; a good swamp in close proximity to Langsford Pond is Annisquam River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Langsford Pond a wet site; the month with most of the rain is November, and August is when it's the driest. Bay State Quarry is a delightful place any time of year; on a good day it's a fine idea                  to spend the day at Wingaersheek Beach. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Atlantic Ocean; if you came for an overnight stay Henry's Resort Motel is a great spot to camp. Pavilion Beach is close to Langsford Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and camping is available at Cape Ann Camp Site. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to explore in the neighborhood of Langsford Pond is Bald Rocks, and here at Langsford Pond you can catch a glimpse of Railcut Hill. Dry warm beds await you at Emerson Inn by the Sea, and if you need a location to stay Arbor Inn Motel is a pleasant choice. Having a pleasant time at Langsford Pond is easy.
