There's a forest here at Lake Watatic called Ashburnham State Forest, and why not pop by close by Bear Meadow Brook if you're here at Lake Watatic. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River; you can go for a hike on the Parker       Trail. Very beautiful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Crotched Mountain, and don't leave Lake Watatic without first going for a hike along the Harling Trail. Yeah, come here to Lake Watatic for a good time. Gardner Municipal Golf Course is a glorious golf course nearby, and Super 8 Gardner is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Naukeag Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There's so much to do here at Lake Watatic that you need to camp here for a while, Howe's Camping is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Watatic, you could also explore beautiful Upper Naukeag Lake, and the summit of Little Watatic Mountain can be distinguished from Lake Watatic. This place, Lake Watatic, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A fine nearby hotel is Colonial Hotel, and there are good places to discover along the Wapack Trail.
