Go to Lake Watatic if you want to go to a nice lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Lake Watatic. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Contoocook River, and Lake Watatic is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Do explore Lake Watatic Dam if you're here at Lake Watatic; playing golf is lots of fun at Gardner Municipal Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Harling Trail, and Lake Watatic is not the only place nearby, Upper Naukeag Lake is a nearby lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Lake Watatic. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Wachusett Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and Little Watatic Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Lake Watatic. Paddling on Stony Brook
is so much fun, and what would winter be without some skiing at Crotched Mountain. Lake Watatic gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month of the year is February.
The warmest
time of the year at Lake Watatic arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's while Lake Watatic overnight low temperatures during the
winter are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Gardner Super 8 Motel is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and why not a little side journey to Bear Meadow Brook.
