At Lake Saltonstall during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Saltonstall. This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Saltonstall you can catch a sight of Ayers Hill, and there are some great whitewater spots on Concord River. This lake is so wonderful.       Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lake Cochichewick; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Haverhill is a great site to spend a night or two. An exciting thing to stop at near Lake Saltonstall is Lake Saltonstall Outlet Dam, and not far from Lake Saltonstall you'll locate Crystal Lake Reservoir which is a delightful lake. A golf course right next door to Lake Saltonstall is Bradford Country Club; do pay a visit to Boston                  Harbor Islands National Recreation Area since you're here at Lake Saltonstall. Lake Saltonstall is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; January is when it's the driest.
