and a spree to Coot Bay is always a wonderful idea. Don't leave Lake Monomonac without first going for a hike along the Parker Trail, and after a long day outdoors Colonial Hotel is a good location to spend a night or two. Lake Monomonac
Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and you get a nice vista of Lord Hill from here. Lake Monomonac gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Pool Pond is next to Lake Monomonac, and Gardner Super 8 Motel is a tremendous site to get some rest.
