In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Charles River; the slopes of Blue Hills are so inviting noone can resist. While you're here at Lake Hiawatha, you could also explore wonderful Farmers Pond; if you're looking for a perfect journey, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is reasonably near. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great       globe it would be. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Heather Hill Country Club; Pineapple Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Hiawatha get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Hiawatha dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful                  nearby hotel is Arns Park Motel. Lake Hiawatha is a reasonably wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Hiawatha is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort is a magnificent local campground; at Lake Hiawatha you can make out Hoppin Hill. Lake Hiawatha is a place with many visitors from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River; there's some interesting stuff to see at Falls Pond Dam close to Lake Hiawatha.
