After a long day outdoors Best Western Seabrook Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; Tuxbury Pond Camping Area is a good campground nearby. All through the summer highs here at Lake Gardner get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's;       through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Gardner temperatures descend to the 10's. Getting to Artichoke River from Lake Gardner is uncomplicated, and not far from Lake Gardner you'll hit upon Clarks Pond which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Lake Gardner you'll meet some people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy for sure, and hey, Gotta ski right? Bradford is a brilliant site to do that. Since you might be in a lake visiting                  mood you can always go to nearby Pattens Pond; why not visit a swamp like Great Swamp since you're here at Lake Gardner. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Amesbury Golf & Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and a wonderful site for whitewater paddling is Atlantic Ocean. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Gardner, too glorious to be true. Beech Hill is lovely and can be seen from Lake Gardner, and Lake Gardner is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Powow Cove Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby.
