You can run the rapids of Clear and Branch in the neighborhood of Lake Como, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great national park. The slopes of Yawgoo Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Como a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest       month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Luther Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and camping is available at Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you want to hit the beach, Frank Moody State Beach is close by, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Orrs Pond is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful.                  There's always Orrs Pond Dam to explore in close proximity to Lake Como, and there are plenty of folks from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River here at Lake Como. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Lake Como. The panorama of Walnut Grove Hill from Lake Como is charming, and a swamp like Sweedens Swamp near Lake Como has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Blue Hills; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express PROVIDENCE-NORTH ATTLEBORO is a magnificent choice. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Chemawa Golf Course is nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Finberg is a delightful site to camp. Summertime highs at Lake Como ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's.
