    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Como. The panoramas at Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind; on a perfect day it's a fine idea to spend the day at Frank Moody State Beach. Lake Como is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Koa Campground Boston Hub is a glorious local campground, and Little Cranberry Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Como a pretty wet place;  
   November is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
If you come at the right time of year, Charles River offers some perfect whitewater, and while you're here you can play some golf at Chemawa Golf Course. Summertime highs at Lake Como generally tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Como throughout the
 
               wintertime typically drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Orrs Pond Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; on a wonderful day you can stop at Sweedens Swamp, a swamp in the neighborhood of Lake Como.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. After a long day outdoors North Attleboro/Providence Super 8 Motel is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; dry warm beds await you at Attleboro-Days Inn. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Hills is in the vicinity of Lake Como, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Clear and Branch. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Walnut Grove Hill can be made out from Lake Como, and of course, A tour to Robin Hollow is always fun.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Como. The skiing at Yawgoo Valley is delightful, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Providence-New Bedford-Fall River. A splendid place to camp here at Lake Como is Normandy Farms Family Camping Resort; some nearby water includes Fourmile Brook.
