a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Blue Hills, and whitewater paddling is good on Assabet River. This lake is so wonderful. A nice sight of scenic Overthrough Hill is available from Lake Cochituate; a swamp like Pod Meadow
in close proximity to Lake Cochituate has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. The high level of rain makes Lake Cochituate a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is November while July is usually the driest
month. Any time is a splendid time at Lake Cochituate if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Boston - Natick is a perfect choice, and there's some interesting stuff to observe at Dudley
