Through the warm months highs here at Juniper Pond get into the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while Juniper Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. So many entertaining things close to Juniper Pond, simply fantastic. There's fine hiking along the Indian Trail, and if you need a location to stay Old Inn       On the Green is a nice choice. Konkapot Brook is a wonderful whitewater spot in close proximity to Juniper Pond; don't leave Juniper Pond without first going for a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. Having a tremendous time at Juniper Pond is easy. Turning Point Inn Bed & Breakfast is a great place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Juniper Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lone Oak Camp Sites. You can take a little visit to Gleason                  Pond Dam if you're here at Juniper Pond; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bousquet is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Lake Buel, and brilliant hiking is available along the Elbow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Juniper Pond you could always discover Guilder Hollow. There's so much to do here at Juniper Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Glade Campground is a fine place for that. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Housatonic River; the peak of Brush Hill can be made out from Juniper Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here, and the snow is nice at Ski Butternut.
