Johnsons Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Johnson Creek, and Powow Cove Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Johnsons Pond gets a good deal of water; November is the month that gets the most rain while August is commonly the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Concord River offers some great whitewater; popping by Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation

While you're here at Johnsons Pond, you could also stop by beautiful Lake Saltonstall, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Haverhill. Lake Cochichewick is a nearby lake that you could visit; after a long day outdoors Best Western Merrimack Valley is a good site to spend a night or two. Johnsons Pond truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise.

people. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Bradford Country Club; Lorraine Park Campground is a good local campground. Johnsons Pond Dam has perfect water scenery and it's next to Johnsons Pond; the skiing at Blue Hills
is great. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at a swamp like Sorag Pond if you're here at Johnsons Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Bradford is reasonably near.
During the warm months at Johnsons Pond temperatures
are usually in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Johnsons Pond during the wintertime mostly fall into
the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Johnsons Pond is a site with many visitors from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy; at Johnsons Pond you can catch a sight of Bayns Hill.
