The vista of striking Bayns Hill near Johnsons Pond is nice, and good water scenery is available at Johnsons Pond Dam close to Johnsons Pond. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Johnsons Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Bradford are so inviting noone can resist, and Bradford Country Club is a golf course nearby. A lake close by is Sperrys Pond,       and you're sure to run into some good people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here. Gotta ski! Blue Hills is a great place to do that, and if you came to camp Lorraine Park Campground is a wonderful place to do that. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Lower Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Johnsons Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Powow Cove Campground is a magnificent                  local campground. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are good places to explore, and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception, and unsurprisingly Johnson Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Johnsons Pond a wet site; November is the wettest month with most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You can run the rapids of Concord River near Johnsons Pond, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Merrimack Valley is a magnificent choice. A good nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Haverhill, and Sorag Pond is an interesting swamp in close proximity to Johnsons Pond. During the warmest time of the year at Johnsons Pond highs are usually in the 80's; the night is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 60's.
