Looking for something close to Joels Pond? Peabody Pond is close at hand, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a delightful local destination. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail next to Joels Pond called the Walkabout Trail, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Worcester for sure. If       you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Smithfield is a great choice; the Munyan Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Be careful coming to Joels Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear and Branch, and a glorious place to camp here at Joels Pond is Echo Lake Campground. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Joels Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Blissful Meadows                  Golf Club is always a joy, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Ross Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Swamp is a swamp near Joels Pond, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend YWCA Beach. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Sutton; Joels Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Winding Brook Camping Area is a great local campground. Why not explore Lee Reservoir Dam since you're here, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Sawmill Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. All through the months of summer highs here at Joels Pond reach the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Joels Pond temperatures sink to the 10's.
