Pakachoag Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, and don't leave Jamesville Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Pine Ridge, and a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Auburn. There's pleasant hiking along the       Border Trail, and La Quinta Inn Auburn Worcester is a fine spot to get some rest. A nice site to camp here at Jamesville Pond is Sutton Falls Camping Area, and great hiking is available along the Ross Trail. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Stoneville Pond near Jamesville Pond, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Wachusett Mountain.
