Beaver Brook flows through this neighborhood, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch. Pakachoag Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, and don't leave Jamesville Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Pine Ridge, and a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Auburn. There's pleasant hiking along the

| | Border Trail, and La Quinta Inn Auburn Worcester is a fine spot to get some rest. A nice site to camp here at Jamesville Pond is Sutton Falls Camping Area, and great hiking is available along the Ross Trail. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Stoneville Pond near Jamesville Pond, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Wachusett Mountain. High temperatures at Jamesville Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. | |
