Why not stop by James Pond if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to pop by near James Pond is Dogfish Bar, and after a long day outdoors Beach N Towne Motel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. During your trip to James Pond you'll meet some people from Barnstable Town for sure; why not take a little tour to Bass River while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Red Maple Swamp Trail is tremendous fun; Clarion Inn South Yarmouth is a good spot to get some rest. Blue Rock Par 3 Golf Course is a glorious golf course nearby, and German hill
can be seen from James Pond. Throughout the months of summer at James Pond highs are regularly in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while James Pond nighttime
low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's.
There's so much to do here at James Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Grindell's Ocean View Park is a wonderful place for that, also Bass River Breakwater
is worth checking out since you're here. James Pond is right by the Buttonbush Trail, and Cape Cod National Seashore is a great national park. All the water falling down from the sky makes James Pond a wet site; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
